Lon Lon Ranch, Kakariko & Death Mountain

Chapter 4 of 16 of the Ocarina of Time remake walkthrough, played as Young Link, in 5 steps.

Detour to the ranch for a bottle and a song, then show Zelda's Letter at the Kakariko gate to climb Death Mountain.

1. Lon Lon Ranch: talk to Malon in the corral with your Ocarina out to learn Epona's Song. Then find Talon's seven Super Cuccos among the barn's flock within the timer for your first Empty Bottle.
2. Kakariko Village: show Zelda's Letter to the guard at the mountain gate. Buy the Hylian Shield at the Bazaar (80), or grab it free in the Graveyard.
3. Graveyard: play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce mark before the royal tomb and learn the Sun's Song inside.
4. Climb Death Mountain Trail to Goron City. Darunia's door is sealed; play Zelda's Lullaby in front of it.
5. Darunia is in a bad mood. You need Saria's Song: go to the Lost Woods and follow the music to the Sacred Forest Meadow (see the next chapter), then come back. Tip: Light the torches around the central pot in Goron City with a Deku Stick to spin out a Piece of Heart.
