# Forest Temple

The forest sage

**Chapter 11 of 16** of the Ocarina of Time remake walkthrough, played as Adult Link, in 7 steps.

Hookshot across the gap in the Sacred Forest Meadow (grab the tree branch). Sheik gives you the Minuet of Forest at the temple's steps.

1. Go through the Lost Woods and the Sacred Forest Meadow (now patrolled by Moblins; stun them or dodge). Hookshot the branch above the broken stair. Learn the Minuet of Forest.
2. Inside, defeat the two Wolfos, then climb the vines. In the central hall the four Poe Sisters steal the torches' flames. Open the Dungeon Map and Compass rooms.
3. Fight two Stalfos in the north-east room (block, wait for their swing, counter). The Fairy Bow drops in the chest.
4. Shoot the paintings to lure Joelle and Beth out; defeat them. In the twisted corridors, shoot the eye switch to untwist, then retwist. Push the blocks in the courtyard puzzle to find the Boss Key.
5. Amy's painting puzzle: shoot or slash the sliding pieces until the picture assembles in under a minute. Meg splits into four; hit the one that spins.
6. Boss: Phantom Ganon. Shoot the painting he emerges from (the real one gets brighter), then reflect his lightning balls with your sword and slash him. Forest Medallion.
7. Back in the Temple of Time, Sheik teaches the Prelude of Light.
