# Fire Temple

The fire sage

**Chapter 12 of 16** of the Ocarina of Time remake walkthrough, played as Adult Link, in 7 steps.

Goron City is deserted except for a rolling Goron. Stop him and the Goron Tunic is yours; without it you burn in the crater.

1. Goron City: bomb the rolling Goron (Darunia's son) as he passes. He gives you the Goron Tunic. Pull the statue in Darunia's room to enter the crater.
2. Death Mountain Crater: Hookshot across the broken bridge. Sheik teaches the Bolero of Fire. Climb down the ladder to the Fire Temple.
3. Free the Gorons locked in cells throughout the temple; each cell has a switch and the Goron rewards you with a Small Key. Darunia enters the boss door early.
4. Cross the lava and climb the fire-maze. In the room with the rolling boulders, find the Boss Key behind the shortcut. Beat the Flare Dancer by hookshotting its core.
5. Climb the crumbling blocks at the top to the chest with the Megaton Hammer. Smash the rusted switches to open shortcuts and reach the boss.
6. Boss: Volvagia. Hammer its head when it rises from a hole, then slash. Shoot or dodge the falling rocks. Fire Medallion.
7. Optional: hammer the boulder near the crater's Goron City entrance for the Double Magic Great Fairy.
