Gold Skulltulas in Water Temple
In the original Ocarina of Time, Water Temple has 5 Gold Skulltulas (of 100 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:
- Gated room on the lowest level — With the water at its lowest, go to the room on the south side of the bottom floor where a Skulltula sits behind a barred gate. Bomb open the way, hit the crystal switch with a spin attack to raise the gate, then Hookshot the Skulltula.
- Outer wall of the central tower — Raise the water to the top level, then look at the central tower from the upper walkway. A Skulltula clings to its outer wall; only the Longshot reaches it.
- Falling-platform room — In the room where platforms drop as you step on them (on the route toward the Boss Key), a Skulltula is on the far wall. Longshot it from a stable platform.
- Underground river wall — In the fast-flowing underground river section, anchor yourself with the Iron Boots and look for a Skulltula on the channel wall. Longshot it from the riverbed.
- Boulder and waterfall passage — In the passage where boulders roll down past a waterfall (leading toward the dragon statue room), a Skulltula clings to the wall. Use the Iron Boots to stand firm and Hookshot it.
