Gold Skulltulas in Lake Hylia
In the original Ocarina of Time, Lake Hylia has 5 Gold Skulltulas (of 100 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:
- Soft soil beside the Lakeside Laboratory — Next to the laboratory there is a patch of loose dirt. Pour bugs on it and defeat the Skulltula that appears.
- Back wall of the Lakeside Laboratory — At night, walk around to the rear of the laboratory and look up. A Skulltula sits high on the wall; the Boomerang kills it and returns the token.
- Stone pillar on the small island — Cross to the small island in the lake at night and check the side of the stone pillar standing there. The Skulltula is low enough to hit with the sword.
- Crate at the bottom of the laboratory pool — Inside the laboratory, put on the Iron Boots and sink to the floor of the dive pool. Roll into the crate down there to break it, then Hookshot the Skulltula and its token.
- Top of the dead tree — The tall dead tree near the Serenade warp pad has a Skulltula near its top at night. It is too far for the Hookshot, so use the Longshot to kill it and pull the token in.
