# Gold Skulltulas in Inside the Deku Tree

In the original Ocarina of Time, Inside the Deku Tree has **4 Gold Skulltulas** (of 100 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:

- **Compass room wall** — In the side room where the Compass chest sits, look for the Skulltula clinging to the wall above the raised platforms. Hop up the ledges and strike it, or shoot it and collect the token from the walkway.
- **Vines after the web drop** — After jumping through the big web in the center of the tree, you land near a wall of vines with a Skulltula part way up. Shoot it with the Slingshot, then climb and take the token.
- **Behind the basement grating** — In the basement, a Skulltula hides behind a metal grate near the water. Kill it through the bars and the token lands where you can reach it by dropping from the ledge above.
- **Behind the bombable wall in the basement** — In the lower basement room where the Gohma larvae drop from the ceiling, a cracked wall can be blown open. The Skulltula waits in the alcove beyond, too high to reach without a ranged tool, so you will need to come back once you have one.
