Gold Skulltulas in Fire Temple
In the original Ocarina of Time, Fire Temple has 5 Gold Skulltulas (of 100 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:
- Song of Time alcove in the lower lava room — In the large lava chamber on the lowest floor, a blue Song of Time block sits in a corner. Play the song to shift it and reveal a small alcove with a Skulltula.
- Bombable wall in the lower boulder maze — On the lower level of the boulder maze, one stretch of wall sounds hollow. Blast it open and the Skulltula is inside the hidden cell behind.
- Fence in the rising-platform room via the Scarecrow — On the upper level of the boulder maze, play the Scarecrow's Song to call Pierre onto a ledge, then Hookshot up and continue to the room with a rising platform. The Skulltula clings to the fence there.
- Wall of the top-floor room with the big hole — Near the top of the temple, in the room with the large hole in the floor (the one that drops you toward the Megaton Hammer), a Skulltula is on the wall. Hookshot it before you descend.
- Flying-tile room beside the entrance — With the Megaton Hammer, return to the entrance hall and smash the statue blocking the door on the raised ledge. Work through to the room where tiles fly at you; the Skulltula is on its wall, in Hookshot range.
