Gold Skulltulas in Dodongo's Cavern
In the original Ocarina of Time, Dodongo's Cavern has 5 Gold Skulltulas (of 100 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:
- Bombable wall at the end of the Baby Dodongo corridor — From the main room, take the east passage where Baby Dodongos burrow out of the floor. At its far end a weak wall can be blown open; the Skulltula is on the wall of the small room beyond.
- Vines in the giant staircase room — In the main chamber with the enormous stone staircase, a Skulltula hangs on the climbable vines. Shoot it from the floor, then climb up to pick up the token.
- Alcove above the giant staircase — After lowering the giant staircase with the Bomb Flowers, climb to its top and look across the upper part of the chamber for a recessed alcove with a Skulltula. Kill it and pull the token over with a ranged tool.
- Scarecrow ledge in the Baby Dodongo corridor — In the east corridor with the Baby Dodongos, play the Scarecrow's Song near the back to summon Pierre on a high ledge. Hookshot up to him and the Skulltula is on the ledge wall.
- Armos alcove near the end of the dungeon — In the chamber near the end of the cavern, before you drop down toward the boss, a cracked wall opens into a side alcove guarded by an Armos statue. Wake and destroy the Armos, then kill the Skulltula on the wall behind it.
