Gold Skulltulas in Death Mountain Trail
In the original Ocarina of Time, Death Mountain Trail has 4 Gold Skulltulas (of 100 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:
- Cracked wall alcove on the lower trail — Partway up the lower trail, a section of wall is visibly cracked. Blast it to reveal a small alcove with the Skulltula on its upper wall; a ranged weapon is needed to bring the token down.
- Soft soil at the Dodongo's Cavern entrance — On the plateau outside Dodongo's Cavern there is a patch of loose dirt. Set bugs loose on it and defeat the Skulltula that climbs out.
- Boulder near the Bomb Flowers above Dodongo's Cavern — On the Dodongo's Cavern plateau at night, smash the large boulder near the Bomb Flowers with the Megaton Hammer. The Skulltula is tucked behind it.
- Boulder on the rolling-rock path to the summit — Further up the trail, where rocks tumble down the slope, a boulder sits against the cliff. Break it with the Hammer at night to expose the Skulltula behind it.
