# Gold Skulltulas in Death Mountain Crater

In the original Ocarina of Time, Death Mountain Crater has **2 Gold Skulltulas** (of 100 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:

- **Crate near the upper entrance** — Enter the crater from the Death Mountain Trail summit and immediately roll into the nearby wooden crate before the heat timer runs out. The Skulltula is inside.
- **Soft soil by the Bolero warp point** — Warp into the crater as a child with the Bolero of Fire; the soil patch is right beside the warp pad near the Fire Temple entrance. Release bugs onto it and kill the Skulltula quickly, then warp out before the heat gets you.
