Pocket Egg — Talk to the Cucco Lady as an adult and she hands you an egg. It hatches into the Pocket Cucco after one in-game dawn (play the Sun's Song to skip ahead).
Pocket Cucco — Carry the hatched cucco to Talon, who sleeps in the house at the base of the stairs in Kakariko, and use it beside him to wake him. The Cucco Lady wants proof it can rouse a sleeper.
Cojiro — Show the Cucco Lady the Pocket Cucco after it has woken Talon. She swaps it for Cojiro, a blue cucco that belongs to her missing brother.
Odd Mushroom — Cojiro crows when you approach the slouched young man. Give him the cucco and he hands over a mushroom that must reach his old mentor quickly.
Odd Potion — Rush from the Lost Woods to Kakariko and enter the Potion Shop through its back door beside the Death Mountain gate. Granny brews the mushroom into the Odd Potion. If the timer expires, return to Grog for another mushroom.
Poacher's Saw — Back in the Lost Woods a Kokiri girl now stands in Grog's spot. Give her the Odd Potion and she gives you the saw he left behind.
Broken Goron's Sword — Hand the saw to the carpenter boss on the Gerudo side of the valley. He returns a broken Goron sword that needs repair.
Prescription — Show Biggoron the broken sword. His eyes are too irritated from the volcano to work, so he writes a prescription for eye drops.
Eyeball Frog — Give King Zora the prescription and he hands you the Eyeball Frog, the key ingredient. It must reach the Lakeside Laboratory while still fresh.
World's Finest Eye Drops — Deliver the frog to the scientist within its three minutes and he mixes the eye drops. Now race back to the summit of Death Mountain before they go off.
Claim Check — Give Biggoron the eye drops within four minutes. He agrees to reforge the sword and hands you a Claim Check as a receipt.
Biggoron's Sword — After three days, show the Claim Check to Biggoron and he presents the finished Biggoron's Sword. In the 3DS version the quest is identical; the only trading-related change is that the Deku Nut upgrade bug tied to the Poacher's Saw was fixed.
