# Pieces of Heart in Lake Hylia

In the original Ocarina of Time, Lake Hylia has **3 Pieces of Heart** (of 36 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:

- **Fishing Pond record (child)** — Rent a rod at the Fishing Pond and land a fish heavier than the standing record. Show it to the owner for the Piece of Heart.
- **Lakeside Laboratory roof** — Ride the bean plant (or hookshot the summoned scarecrow) up to the roof of the Lakeside Laboratory where the piece sits.
- **Laboratory dive** — Inside the Lakeside Laboratory, dive into the tank and touch the floor. The scientist is impressed and rewards you with a Piece of Heart.
