# Pieces of Heart in Gerudo Valley

In the original Ocarina of Time, Gerudo Valley has **2 Pieces of Heart** (of 36 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:

- **Waterfall alcove** — Below the valley bridge a ladder leads to a ledge behind the big waterfall. Climb it to find the piece in the alcove.
- **Crate on the far cliff** — A crate on a cliff ledge across the gorge hides a piece. Reach it by Longshot or Cucco flight and break it open by rolling.
