# Pieces of Heart in Gerudo Fortress

In the original Ocarina of Time, Gerudo Fortress has **2 Pieces of Heart** (of 36 in the game). This list is for the Nintendo Switch 2 remake and is checked against it as players confirm each one. How to get each:

- **Rooftop chest** — Climb to the highest roof of the fortress and cross to the distant chest using the scarecrow or Longshot. It holds the piece.
- **Horseback Archery (1000 points)** — Ride Epona through the archery range east of the fortress shooting the targets. A score of 1000 or more earns the Piece of Heart; 1500 later earns the Biggest Quiver.
